Ferris Ride lego

We had to make our robot move until it hit a touch sensor and it reversed a little , and then rotated 3 times. Then said goodbye. We accomplished the task for this lab assignment. The code was fairly easy, but we needed to make sure only one of the two motors ran when rotating. This is the code to rotate and all of that.

We also had to complete a working ferris wheel for 1 to 3 riders. It worked and we used the corresponding code to make the ferris wheel move when we hit a start button(which was the touch sensor). We used a light sensor first so that threw a kink in our code. This is the code we used for this part of the assignment.

Sound Sensor Produces a sound when programmed to and hears audio from input device. We have a built in one so i didnt put up a picture.
Ultrasonic sensor works really well by just waving a hand in front of it. It receives in put from a laser or ultrasonic wave.

Light sensor didn't work initially, but we had to put the light sensor at a certain distance from the ground and contrast it on white paper to the wood table to work.

Touch sensor worked will with an extra lego sticking out front. It received input from "touching" something and reversed.

Robot from class

Me and my lab partner made a lego robot and it actually moved around. Which was surprising because we were missing quite a few of the pieces. It was hard to makeshift a new swivel piece when we didn't have one. It was fun, but time consuming. I wish there were more pieces but it worked out in the end. Our robot looked like Frankenstein's monster.
